Young Author's Day

Chatham Park has brought back Young Author's Day (Friday, December 13th)! This is a day when local authors come to the school to present, talk about, and interact with the children. It has been a continuing hit at other schools!

The children are sure to talk about who they met and the books that these visitors wrote. It's a great opportunity for students to get an idea of what it's like to be an author. 

​

We certainly appreciate and are thankful for our local author visitors!

We need some helpers:

 

Friday December 13th (8:30AM-11:30AM) - we will need 10 helpers to help guide authors to classrooms and to help set up the lunch that is provided.
